Did you ever
feel like your climbing a high wire and the crowd is cheering you on to walk
across this thin rope way up in the air?
Tip toe you
scoot out onto the wire. The crowd oohs and aah as you barely inch your way
out. You try not to look down for fear of heights encumbers your being. Then somehow,
with all eyes on you. You find the courage to persevere when only, but a mere
wire sits beneath your feet.
Then when
you think you are getting the hang of it, someone hands you a blindfold. What
is this? I blindly must go across this thin wire, this is absurd. You’re
already out there. Your two choices are to go back and give up or walk in fear
of falling. You choose to walk, though you can not see a thing. You choose to
follow your gut and take this fine rope inch by inch. To you, this is the only
choice.
With the
crowd behind you, your feet firmly meet your destination. You take the
blindfold off and suddenly your fear is no longer a fear. It’s an
accomplishment!
