SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE

 




Shades of blue spread across the sky and lengthy clouds seem to follow.

Before I take off to fly I breath in and out the fear is too much to swallow.
 


Trespassing thoughts seem to linger in my mind.

Guarded by a past that has taken up my time. 


Monstrous mountains stand before me with such demand.
 
Wanting to do this on my own but still reaching for a hand.


Draping my wings by my side and turning inward for strength.

Though I cannot go back I’ll drive forward removing the chains link by link.
