The other night, I introduced Elvis Presley to my kids. They were initially embarrassed that I knew all the words but also intrigued by The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. It was new to them.
Right now, it feels like this world is small, but there are so many unexplored avenues to take in, listen to, experience, and feel. It’s waiting on us. I know it may be hard to think about adventure when we are staring at four walls in our house or office, but adventure doesn’t just come with travel. Our minds have incredible imaginations.
There is nothing wrong with discovering the world around us. Breathing in the silence in the air, picking up discolored leaves that shallow the ground. Listening to bellowing sounds from rain drops as they fall from the dark sky, watching the strands of grass sway in the crisp wind. It’s such purposeful beauty that sinks into my soul. It sings a melody of hope and serenity.
So, let loose…stretch your mind to new possibilities. We’re not done yet. As far as I’m concerned—we’re just getting started!
