Just Because the Fish Aren’t Biting Today Doesn’t Mean They Won’t be Hungry Tomorrow


A full day of work and nothing to show for it. For now—that is. Sometimes it’s hard to keep one foot in front of the other when you feel like you’re not going anywhere.

Anything worth doing is going to be hard. If it were easy everyone would do it. The satisfaction at the end of the day has to come within. Reward yourself with the little accomplishments. You know the ones you do, and no one sees you do.

One of my favorite books as a child is, “The Little Engine that Could.” I try to tell myself every day, “I think I can, I think I can.” Even when the odds are against me. Why? Because you only get this one life. Might as well do what you love even when you don’t receive instant gratification.
